MUSIC & THE ARTS NEEDS YOUR HELP!!!!
Did you know that MEANYC, NY State Alliance for Arts Education, and NYSSMA are working to get Music & the Arts as the 13th subject in NY State? We are close — so here's how you can assist in getting us across the finish line.
Complete this auto fill form with your legal name and address (School and Home can be used!) — It will send an auto completed letter to your assembly and Senator, and it's editable if you're inspired!
Check out the flyer for other ways to get more involved with Government Relations!!

If you are asked to follow up a call or meeting with an email, feel free to use these templates.
If you have 30min or multiple hours to give, we'd love the support!
Maybe you are asking "Why should we care? What's Albany going to do?” — Music and the Arts is not currently required. This law would codify it. This means that EVERY school in NY State would be REQUIRED to offer Music and the Arts. Funding and time can then be supported through legislation. Want to hear more about the bill? It's all exciting, and we understand asking folks to support when time is already limited may be a lift. If you are able to help out, MEANYC and the NYC Music Action Team thank you!
