Bloomingdale School of Music is seeking musicians ages 13 and up in STRINGS, WINDS, BRASS, PERCUSSION to round out our Advanced Chamber Orchestra, featuring Bloomingdale's most advanced students and professional faculty.

Designed for students ages 13 and up at NYSSMA Level 5 or higher, this advanced orchestra offers a focused and collaborative ensemble experience. Participants rehearse over eight weeks at a rate of $22 per session ($176 total, plus fees if applicable), working alongside Bloomingdale’s most advanced students and professional faculty. The program emphasizes ensemble playing through attentive listening, synchronization, and collective sound development, while exploring orchestral repertoire ranging from the classical canon to contemporary works. The session culminates in a public performance at the Spring Orchestra Concert on Tuesday, June 16, 2026. Rehearsals start on April 28, 2026 and meets on Tuesdays 4:45 - 6:00 PM until 6/16.
