All-City High School Ensembles
The Office of Arts and Special Projects (OASP) of the New York City Department of Education conducts auditions in mid-October of students in Grades 9-12 for the All-City High School Chorus, Orchestra, Concert Band, Marching Band and Jazz Ensemble.
For selected participants, rehearsals are held on Saturday mornings throughout the school year, culminating in a series of concerts held in May. Each musical organization is directed by an outstanding conductor with the assistance of talented and dedicated music teachers.
Application and audition dates, sites and requirements can be found on the DOE website.
